METABOND SPIRIT is a state-of-the-art ester-based treatment for the engines of gasoline, diesel and gas operated passenger cars and light commercial vehicles fitted with a start-stop system developed after 2010. It ensures a carefree, fuel-efficient and environmentally conscious driving experience!

Use:

Simply put the bottle on a warm radiator or in warm water in order to warm up the content of the bottle to a pourable consistency, shake well and pour 1 bottle (250 ml) into the engine (4 to 8 liters oil fill) to the new, warm engine oil and then run the engine for a few minutes. The treatment has to be repeated at each oil change cycle. Its use assumes the use of the required grade of engine oil!

 

Field of application:

It is recommended for use in the latest gasoline, diesel and gas-powered engines of passenger cars with catalytic converter or particulate filters, developed after 2010, as it also contains components that are specific for the start-stop engine oil.

It can be mixed with all mineral, semi or full synthetic, even ester based passenger car motor oil. Recommended application mainly mixed with 0W, 5W viscosity oils.

Cold, but also warm start is a very sensitive point in the lubrication of an internal combustion engine. After starting the engine, the optimum oil pressure cannot be generated at the moment of rotation for many seconds. That is why the engine spins for a very short time without oil pressure, which uses and wear all friction surfaces, especially the bearings. For modern engines, bearings are therefore provided with a polymeric (plastic) surface due to their more efficient self-lubrication properties and a much lower friction coefficient.

 

The start-stop engines are equipped with a reflux oil filter and valves, so the required oil pressure is retained from the pump side of the pump, and as soon as the oil pump rotates, the right pressure is immediately generated. However, this requires the use of lubricants that can be easily pumped even relatively cold contiditons (0w and 5w motor oils with low internal friction and cohesion).

 

 

Why should I choose Metabond?

 

In the case of most equipment, a quarter of the energy created by the fuel is lost due to friction resulting from movement, which is converted into heat energy, only a small part of which can be used. Metabond can reduce this friction loss by up to 60%.

Under pressure, Metabond oil treatments chemically react with metals and ennobles their own material. The extremely hard and very smooth protective surface formed in this way resists damage caused by friction even under extreme load, prevents "mixed friction", and also provides ideal conditions for lubricating oils and lubricating films.

 

Metal surface treatment provides safety lubrication, facilitates the internal operation of the engine and the movement of parts, which results in a significant increase in equipment performance and fuel savings. Better fittings significantly reduce the emission of toxic gases.

 

By using our products, the noise level and operating temperatures are noticeably reduced immediately. When used continuously in new equipment, it guarantees a triple service life, while in the case of used equipment, the remaining lifetime is doubled. The use of Metabond metal surface treatment eliminates cold start problems and provides a protective effect even in the event of a short-term partial oil shortage or complete loss of oil pressure.

 

In addition to improved lubrication, metal surface treatment and nanoceramics also reduce leakage problems. This significantly reduces emissions and greatly reduces potential oil consumption. Due to nanotechnology the ceramic can be used for both mainstream and secondary, super fine filters.

 

The lubricants of the Metabond-treated equipments maintain their lubricity for a longer period of time due to the more ideal operating conditions, and the high antioxidant content prevents the aging of the oil,thus increasing the oil change interval, thus reducing the environmental load due to used oil.
